Troubled Minds: Schizophrenic Art From My Childhood And Beyond (WARNING: GRAPHIC)

I simply want to share a bit of what had been my reality, with you all, through art that I'd created during some of the darkest years of my life. Please view this project with that in mind. Thank you.)

There's no way for me to truly and accurately describe the things I was enduring during the time that these images were drawn, especially some of the older ones. So I'm going to just answer questions as they come. I tried to stick to the more tame images for this project, although I'm sure some are indeed still unsettling. I wanted to post this project to spread awareness. As a child and teen who had a florid vocabulary I could describe my circumstances rather well (at times) but there's nothing like truly seeing something to ingrain it in your memory. Thus, my art began to take off, centered around the things that I saw, envisioned, dreamed of, hallucinated and lived through. Please keep that in mind when viewing these images.

HEY MILES, I SEE CHARACTERS I KNOW!
You may see a few token characters from popular concepts or shows in the background of a few of my more disorganized images (aside from the MLP one). During my teen years I had to be careful about what content I digested because I'd often hallucinate things that I'd seen before, which would return to haunt me when I wanted them to leave my mind. As a young teen I think we all sort of got caught up in a theory or two and I did indeed take a trip down a few rabbit trails of my own during that time. Anyway, that explains that. :p Ah, younger Miles, you were a piece of work.
