Angus Vinden is a confirmed star in the Australian wine scene. His winery in the Hunter Valley was founded in 1998 and he took over from his father Guy in 2015, inheriting great vineyards into the bargain. These sites, combined with Angus' talent, make a potent duo, and the wines continue to improve with each vintage.

Since taking over in 2015 Angus has maintained the original Vinden Wines label, which possesses a traditional Hunter style. He's also been working hard on his own offshoot, where he flexes his wine creativity and experimental approach: this is the Vinden way, a mix of innovation and tradition. For all Angus' labels the fruit is treated with utmost respect from vine to bottle: he has trodden a careful line combining his modern and youthful approach to the business, whilst preserving the legacy his father created before him.

Careful vineyard selection, Angus’ gentle approach to winemaking, and respect for the land and Hunter lore result in a mixture of both modern and traditional Hunter Valley styles.
