Again, apologies for this video looking like the first season of Drag Race. But I can’t blame Skywest for not making window cleanliness their first priority. After a fantastic flight over the southwestern deserts (the fingers of Zion National Park’s Kolob Canyons are especially dramatic from 40,000 feet,) we hit a few bumps as we entered the clouds over Lake Utah. Before long, we cleared the clouds with the Wasatch Range covered in recent snow framing the city. We pass downtown Salt Lake before the pilot flying decides to stomp that runway like Kenya Michaels. Once in the terminal (after a horrendous entrance from the remote stands) I have to say, I love it. Can’t wait to see it when it’s fully built out. But it is nice, especially the Canyon. Infinite improvement on the old, Detroit of the 90s-like terminal. Great job.
