Lets Play: "Slay The Spire" Part 224 (The Silent Ascension 18 Run 2)

DAGGER, DAGGER, DAGGER!!! NOOO NOT THE TIME EATER! WE WERE SO CLOSE!

We had such a sick little deck this run. It was a classic Shiv based deck with scaling from Accuracy.. FOUR copies of it exactly. Two of which we managed to upgrade. We also had FOUR copies of Blade Dance because that card is amazing on its own already, but when you're scaling your Shiv's its even better. We had an After Image which complimented the Shiv's even more, and a Infinite Blades to give me consistent damage throughout the fights. We started this deck with a Corpse Explosion, thinking that it would be so helpful in hallway fights to really help clear everything out and it pulled its weight early, but it scaled into the late game even better when we eventually picked up an Envenom and got a Snecko Skull relic. We also were lucky enough to get an Ornamental Fan and a Wrist Blade that both gave us even better defense, and deal even more damage.. There were times I didn't think we'd make it with this deck, but it pulled through even when it was close.. We just happened to get really bad RNG and our final boss in act three was the Time Eater which really counters a deck like that, that wants to play a lot of cards in one turn and we fell just a smiiiig short. We stayed honest and ethical here and did no cheese, but I think if I cheesed a few fights and played them better (including the final fight) we had this thing in the bag! Oh well..
