Demis Roussos was a Greek singer and musician.
He first became internationally known as a member of the band Aphrodite's Child with Vangelis Papathanasiou and enjoyed many hits during his solo career, particularly in the 1970s.
He has sold over 70 million records worldwide.
Since 2008, Demis lived in Greece by the sea. After being one of the most talented singers of his century, Demis still worked on more magical offerings, with the blessing of music and God.
He died at the age of 68, from stomach and liver cancer, at the Hygeia Hospital in Athens on January 25, 2015.
