Ford Everest Ford Ranger Mazda BT50 Front Diff Oil Change
Draining the oil from the front diff of a 2016 Ford Ranger. Similar setup in the Ford Ranger and Mazda BT50.
From the factory they use 80W-90 and have a capacity of around 1.3L however I have been informed that some use only 800-900ml or 5-10mm below the fill point. This is to avoid exessive seepage from the vent pipe. If oil loss from the vent pipe has been an issue for you I suggest keeping the level a little lower.
