Tropical Depression Beta moving in on Southeast Texas

12News Chief Meteorologist Patrick Vaughn gives an update on the progress of Beta, which has been downgraded to a depression following its overnight landfall near Port Lavaca, Texas.

The storm is expected to bring some heavy rains over portions of the middle and upper Texas Gulf coast.

The storm will move northeast along the coast through Wednesday, becoming a depression by the time it reaches Houston.
