[EN] Metz is a city in the Grand Est region of north-eastern France with gardens and avenues on the Moselle and Seille rivers. In the old town stands the Gothic cathedral of Metz, which is known for its many stained glass windows, mostly created by renowned artists. Nearby is the Cour d'Or Municipal Museum with exhibits from Roman times to the Renaissance. Contemporary art is exhibited in the Center Pompidou-Metz with its curved roof structure.

Dans la vieille ville se dresse la cathédrale de Metz, connue pour ses nombreux vitraux, réalisés pour la plupart par des artistes de renom. A proximité se trouve le musée municipal de la Cour d'Or avec des expositions de l'époque romaine à la Renaissance. L'art contemporain est exposé au Centre Pompidou-Metz avec sa charpente cintrée.
