A project can be successful with the tokens being 100% essential and yet they may never increase in value.

In the future, we'll see many successful projects and their tokens having a value of $0.

Why? Because these projects haven't accounted for an issue known as token velocity.

A common type of token which suffers from this issue are 'medium of exchange' tokens which offer no incentive for people to hold them.
