happy august💛 am i the only one who feels like this summer is just flying by??! my birthday was on july 20th and the weekend before couldn’t have been more precious. i feel so grateful to have such incredible friends in my life. right after the celebration, simon & i flew to SF for the week of my bday. overall it was a rly nice getaway from new york (& the heat🥵). i can’t believe two weeks have already passed since i’ve been back. it was pretty hard editing this vlog just because there’s some stuff going on in my life right now. i know i only showed the happy moments in my video, but when i’m sad the last thing i want to do is turn on the camera (hence why you guys don’t see the low moments). i try to keep my channel a positive & happy space on the internet, but of course, i’m still human and my life is not as perfect as it seems online.

social media is truly only the highlight reels. i feel like we all know that by now? but it’s still so easy to fall into the toxic comparison game when viewing other ppl’s stories or posts :')

in the end, i do believe that everything happens for a reason. i’m so grateful for where i am and the ppl in my life rn. thank you for all the bday wishes :’) i hope you guys enjoy the vlog & i’ll see u in my next video💕
