How to Use USDT for Cross-Border Payments 2026 | Global Transfer Guide
If you want to send money internationally quickly and with lower fees, USDT (Tether) can be used for cross-border payments through blockchain networks. In this video, I’ll show you how it works.
First, both the sender and receiver need a crypto wallet or exchange account. You can use platforms like Binance, Kraken, or personal wallets like MetaMask and Trust Wallet.
Next, fund your account and convert your local currency into USDT.
Before sending, always verify the blockchain network carefully. USDT can exist on multiple networks like TRC20, ERC20, or others, and both sender and receiver must use the same network to avoid loss of funds.
Then enter the recipient’s wallet address, select the correct network, and specify the amount you want to send.
Tap Send and confirm the transaction.
In most cases, the transfer completes within seconds to a few minutes depending on network congestion.
Once received, the recipient can hold USDT, trade it on an exchange, or convert it back into local currency through a supported platform or bank withdrawal service.
