Doom Eternal - Why Are The Demons So Different?

Why are the demons so different in Doom Eternal compared to their Doom 2016 counterpart? The Imp, Revenant, Cacodemon, Mancubus, Hellknight and Baron all look different. Lets talk about that. In the new Doom Eternal Gameplay and in the new Doom Eternal Trailer from E3 and Quakecon we can see that the designs for the demons have changed a lot.
