GIGACON Oslo 2015 Opener / Intro - By TrooperFX

GET READY FOR CHIPTUNE 8 BIT WOOT! Finally finished up this project, which was extremely fun to create, since it was something different from my usual stuff.
A combination of 2D and 3D artifacts, all slightly retro/neon themed, including lots of gaming elements made this project so exciting to me. I had to try a lot of different things, to finally achieve a look that i personally was satisfied with - luckily the client was too!
Gigacon is a gaming convention hosted in Oslo - Norway (similar to the Gamescom in Germany for example), if you want to learn more about it, here is their website: http://gigacon.no/

I used Cinema4D and After Effects for this project. For the first part i mainly used C4D( 3D Shots of the different consoles and gaming hardware) while the second part was pretty much entirely created in After Effects.

The Sound Design was done by myself just for fun, since they are going to use music for their final version, but are still doing research.
