Firefighters rescue dog from icy Cranston pond
Cranston rescue workers saved a dog that fell through the ice Wednesday.
The large black-and-white dog went through the ice at Stone Pond at about 7:30 a.m. The dog became trapped in the water and could not get out.
A water rescue team equipped with a small boat and sled was able to pull the animal out of the water.
