Against the flow
Maryland farmer Sam Owings and Allen Davis, a professor in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering, have joined forces through the Maryland Industrial Partnerships program to investigate whether a series of unassuming pools can help farmers reduce their contributions to the Chesapeake Bay dead zones.
