Hiyori Yasaka, a rookie office lady working for a notorious black company. After laboring all day without even time to eat, she returns late at night to her company dorm, starving, and heads out to a ramen shop to satisfy her hunger.

However, on the way, she encounters an evil spirit. Just as it seems she is facing certain doom before the looming apparition, she inexplicably finds herself back in front of her own room. Thinking it might have been a dream, she barely has a moment to recover when a mysterious woman appears. “If you notice anything out of the ordinary, return to your room. If nothing seems wrong, proceed to the elevator.”

After leaving this message on a posted notice, the woman vanishes without a trace. Though bewildered by the strange circumstances, Hiyori decides to follow the mysterious woman’s instructions…
