Visiting Grandma and Grandpa's Graves

On September 21, 2020, I visited Grandma and Grandpa Simmons' graves at Mount Pleasant Cemetery at the North end of Queen Anne Hill in Seattle, Washington. They were hard to locate because the growth of vegetation around them and on them made it difficult to locate them. But locate them I did, and I cleaned the area up so they are once again visible to the visitor. I need to return soon with a my shovel, rake, broom and some water to clean up a bit better.
I am not happy with the poor maintenance of the vegetation near their graves and it is the second time in the last 5 years where I was not able to locate their graves without going having to dig around. With the amount of dirt covering them it seems that no maintenance is being performed at all except the occasional grass cutting. What ever happened to that "perpetual care" they tout when they are taking your money?
I loved my grandparents. Such awesome people who accepted a single white mother with 6 kids as their own family. We were, and are a blended family.
