DIY Linear Rail Router Sled / V1.5 Upgrades!

These are just a few upgrades to the linear rail router sled. I made a push handle that allows for more comfortable use. I also drilled some holes at the end of the rails, making the cutting width around 36" as opposed to the previous 30".

This is the best router sled that you can make for the money. I honestly believe that it is just as good as the "Slab Flattening Mill" but at a fraction of the cost. All parts you see in this video can be easily found on Amazon. I think that this DIY router jig is the best thing you can build for flattening wood slabs.

I will be coming out with a Version 2 in the future as I've got some good ideas on how this system can be utilized better!
