Building a Hunting Cabin 15: Over Framing a Valley on A Roof

In this episode of building a hunting cabin, I show how we over frame our valley on our porch roof. It is a little unique compared to a traditional rafter roof system, but it is very effective.

One thing to remember is that math is your friend when it comes to framing. That, and take the time to make sure that when building, you ensure everything else has been built with as much precision as possible while leading up to the point of framing a roof. It will make it much easier!
