Sailing The Inside Passage on a Catalina 27: From The Vault #1

Sorry about the scratchy guitar tunes; I was just learning how to make videos and record music....

While looking at an overview map of The Inside Passage, a salty mariner piped up and told me "it's just a bunch of day trips." Being in my early twenties, and with a whole five months of sailing under my belt, that made sailing north the next year sound reasonable, so I started preparing. Aboard a Catalina 27 with paper charts and a handheld GPS in hand, three of us set sail at the end of April 2011 for a pretty stellar adventure. Here is a video I put together during the fall of 2011 after the trip.
