This is a tribute to the OG anime studio Gainax, who has officially gone bankrupt and ended operation in December 2025 and after producing some of the best anime of all time will never make anime again.

I used 21 of their titles to showcase their themes, style and that iconic 'X' starglow they always used as well as the crazy, WEIRD, cool, angsty, questionably feminist, coming of age drama, action, comedy that makes Gainax what it was, the best I could in a PG, 3 and a half minute video.

but weep not, Gainax for over 10 years now lives on through the Trigger studio in spirit ✨✨✨
