Today I'm breaking down a combat manual technique by Thomas Page, analyzing why standard "gaming" blocks fail, and taking it onto the deck of a pirate ship to run a brutal 114-kill endurance drill on a VR treadmill. Is it practical for HEMA, and more importantly, is it LARP-legal? Let's find out.

And no, the shield in the thumbnail is not in use, since that would block the sensors and not work. I could try and get a plexiglass shield, but I don’;t want to, so.

I will watch a video from that series and use the knowledge therein against increasingly nasty waves in Blade and Sorcery to see if I am improving.
