Car bomb explodes in Moscow, killing commander of Russian nuclear forces.

The Russian Investigative Committee said that a bomb hidden in an electric scooter exploded, killing the commander of the nuclear protection forces in Moscow.

“Lieutenant General Igor Kirillov and his assistant were killed,” said Svetlana Petrenko, spokeswoman for the Russian Investigative Committee.
The explosion occurred on the morning of December 17, killing the head of the Commander of the Russian Radiation, Chemical and Biological Protection Forces, Lieutenant General Igor Kirillov. The location of the explosion was determined to be outside the entrance to a residential building on Ryazansky Avenue in Moscow (Russia), about 7 km southeast of the Kremlin.
Up to now, no individual or organization has claimed responsibility for this incident. Russian agencies have also not specifically named any suspects.
