All India Lawyers Union Protests at SC after lawyer attempts to attack CJI Gawai in Courtroom

All India Lawyers Union organises a protest on Supreme Court premises over yesterday's incident where a lawyer, Rakesh Kishore attempted to hurl an object at CJI BR Gavai. Following the protest Advocate Subhash Chandran KR said, 'It is highly condemnable. The attack is on Indian judiciary. An attack against Chief Justice of India means that it is an attack on the Constitution, on the Indian judical system. So, entire Indian society should condemn it...We are extending our support to the CJI, to the Constitution of India and we will be protesting against this atrocious act of a lawyer...A criminal FIR should be registered against the so-called lawyer, contempt of court action should be initiated against him. This should not happen to any other lawyer. This should be the last incident...'
