First , you need to buy the original complete heroes 3 from your computer. You can do that by going to GOG dot com and buy it from there and sometimes they have it on discount. Then, sign up and log in to your GOG account to download the GOG launcher. You will need to install another GOG executable file from your downloads folder. Then, the GOG launcher will pop up.

Pay attention to the install destination as you need to find the folder later. Click on install and wait for the process to complete. After installation is done, go to your download location and find the Heroes of Might and Magic 3 Complete folder. You can copy this directly to your android phone via usb cable or upload it to Google Drive. My file is relatively large as it also contains the Horn of the Abyss expansion. Zip the folder and once that is complete, you can upload it to Google Drive.

From your phone, open google drive and click on the 3 dot icon of the zip file and download it from there. Once the download is complete, go to your download section and find the zip file.

You will then need to go to google play and download an app like CX File Explorer so you can extract and move files easily. Since I already have it installed, I will go ahead and open it here. Tap on the downloads icon. Then, check the HOMM 3 complete zip folder and tap on the 3 dot icon at the bottom to extract it. Choose “extract here”. The process can take a while as its a large file. Once that is done, go back to google play and look for the VCMI app, which is a program that makes Heroes 3 compatible with your android phone.

After installation, open the app. Choose english as the default and tap on next. Now, tap on the “copy existing data” tab. Then go and find your HOMM 3 folder under the downloads folder. After that, choose “use this folder”. If the app starts to freeze, you can minimize it and return to fix the problem.

Now, tap on “next”. You can opt to add Horn of the Abyss as well if you have it installed. But we will not do that in this video. Then choose “finish”. From here, you can also install additional mods for the game. I will skip this for now.

Tap on the “VCMI” icon and then tap on “play” and you will now enter the game. The game runs pretty well on the phone and you can tap to an area to move your heroes and the battle is also smooth, although I had some difficulty attacking from the right angle.
