Wafer Paper Conditioning Tutorial ⎸How to Use Edible Wafer Paper on Cakes

Hey Guys!

A new obsession of mine is playing with wafer paper! I used to hate it, but after months of just keeping it in a drawer, I'm finally ready to explore it more and use it on my cakes!

At first I found it great only for decor that didn't need much bending, but if you condition it (what I'm doing in this video) you can fold it up and even twirl it without having it tear! You can also color it any way you'd like!

If you're in a humid climate, I suggest starting off with less glycerin than I used. If you're in a dry climate, I'd start with the ration in the video. In either case, here's something to start you guys off with!

P.S. You won't get drunk off this. The alcohol will almost all evaporate away. The reason I use alcohol is because it evaporates so much faster than water- this means less waiting, more creating! ♡
