Juneteenth with Diversity in Dentistry Mentorships and Spear Education

Today we are honoring Juneteenth with an exclusive interview with Dr. Laila Hishaw, founder of Diversity in Dentistry Mentorships. Diversity In Dentistry Mentorships, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization committed to strengthening the diversity pathway from middle school to dental school through mentoring, educational experiences, hands-on programming, and scholarships to youth and pre-dental students from African-American/Black, Latinx, and Native American backgrounds.

We appreciate Dr. Hishaw sharing her experience, expertise, and why the mission at Diversity in Dentistry is so powerful to underrepresented youth.

As part of our ongoing collaboration, Spear Education is proud to be hosting Diversity in Dentistry Mentorships at our Scottsdale campus for their event, Diversify Dentistry Youth Summit on July 11!
