AU Story

After Robin’s death, Regina can’t help but blaming Zelena for the death of her beloved soulmate. She’s sure she can’t be happy without Robin by her side – he was her boyfriend, her partner in crime, her better half, her everything, he always believed in her even when no one did – so she decides to isolate herself. Regina can’t move on, seeing people and talking to them make everything much worse, she’d rather be alone. One day, sitting at Granny’s, someone shows up and when Regina turns she sees Robin’s ghost. She doesn’t understand what’s going on, how his ghost is following her wherever she goes and she’s the only one who can see him but she feels safer with him by her side. Regina decides to not tell this anybody, they would think she’s crazy. The only thing that matters is that Robin is there, somehow.
She accidentally shares this secret with Henry, but he takes it better than she thought. He’s happy she’s no longer in pain but he asks her why she’s not fully happy about it. Regina tries to explain that this is not an easy situation, he’s too young to understands it.
Somehow Emma finds out the truth, so she goes looking for Regina to get some answers. Regina admits everything. The blonde woman doesn’t hesitate a moment to tell Regina that nothing that is going on is real, that Robin is not real. According to Emma, Regina should let him go and try to move on.
Regina starts doubting everything, her mind, her decisions, her health, but when Robin tries to make her see sense she can’t let him go. In tears she tells him “No, I won’t lose you again. Without you I’m lost.”
Henry meets her mother at the vault with a solution that could end this painful torture: TRUE LOVE’S KISS. Regina is pessimist about it, true love’s kiss doesn’t fix everything. Emma finally opens her eyes, realizing she would do the same if he was Hook, so she encourages Regina to try and kiss him.
Despite the fact that both of them are aware that it might not work, Robin and Regina kiss in the vault – their special place, where they share some of the best nights of their lives, where he denied his own code because his love for her was stronger than everything – and the magic happens. Robin is no longer a ghost but a real human.

As I said on twitter I tried to make it look as real as possible, but it’s really not easy to recreate a ghost, but I did my best. I know it’s soooooo crappy but I hope you enjoy the storyline and the idea behind it.
