Upgrade your Lectric XP with more power! (Additional Motor/Battery Install)

I WILL BE DOING AN UPDATE SOON ABOUT THIS, but this is a must have that I didn’t install in this video. I do have two installed now. You don’t need two, but I want to be as safe as can be.

Well the day is finally here, where I get to show you all of the stuff I've been planning and working on. This weekend, I installed the 1000W front hub motor, and a 20AH battery, in addition to the stock Lectric XP battery/motor. This video details all of the steps to do this install. From the little bit I've ridden it, it's amazing! A must have. I tried to make this as simple as possible, for anyone to follow. If you have any questions regarding the install, comment below.

Parts Needed:

- 1000W Front Hub Motor [$220ish] (These are selling like crazy, so the link may expire. Tools Needed:
- An adjustable crescent wrench or socket wrench with a 15mm socket
- Air Compressor/Canned Air
- T20 (stock screws on the hub assembly) and T25 (upgraded screws for the new hub) torx bits, used when installing the brake caliper
- Cheap plastic clamps (I paid $1 each for the ones in the video from Walmart) - (These keep the handlebars raised, so the screen doesn't smash the floor)
- Any pry tools
- Duct tape or Gorilla tape
- Razer blade or knife (to cut the grips) or you could use the grips that come with the kit
- Allen keys (3mm, 4mm, and 5mm)
- Crimp tool
- Wire crimp connectors
- Electrical tape
- Something to seperate the battery and controller (preferably metal, or anything that doesn't melt from heat)
- Tire pump/Air compressor
- Torque Wrench
