In a country that often interprets symbols as substance, a photo can be much louder than a speech on stage.

That's what was felt when the public was shocked by a portrait of an informal meeting between a number of opposition political figures and Sufmi Dasco Ahmad, Deputy Speaker of the Indonesian House of Representatives and Prabowo Subianto's right-hand man.

The meeting was not just a meeting. It was a portrait of reality. Not an April Mob.

Taking place in the elite Menteng area, figures who have long been known to be critical of power—such as Eggi Sudjana, Syahganda Nainggolan, and Bursah Zarnubi—were seen side by side with Don Dasco in an atmosphere that was far from tense.

The photo was spread, went viral, and spoke louder than any party release.

The President's Shadow and Whispers of Change Sufmi Dasco is not just any politician.

He is the shadow of the president, a legitimate representation of Prabowo's political will.

So his presence among the activists who have been a bogeyman for Jokowi and Gibran is a signal.

A signal that the map of power is undergoing a silent reconstruction. If Jokowi and Gibran's power previously seemed solid through the political orchestration of KIM and loyalist ranks, now it seems that ripples are emerging from within.

Ripples that could possibly become big waves. The meeting brought a serious nuance of discussion—rural industrialization in Lahat, for example. However, anyone who knows the dynamics of Indonesian politics knows that the issue of development is just a peanut shell in the dynamics of practical politics.

What is important is not what is discussed, but who meets. Egi Sudjana and the Mission to "Blow Up Solo" Two days before the meeting, on April 16, 2025, Eggi Sudjana and the TPUA troops—the Team for the Defense of Ulama and Activists—met President Jokowi directly at his residence in Solo.

The main agenda? Demanding clarification on Jokowi's fake diploma allegations. In Jokowi's political logic, such a meeting should not need to be entertained, if there is no significant pressure.

But in reality, the meeting took place. And if we trace it back, the public certainly still remembers how long this issue was dismissed, even considered a hoax.

But now, Eggi and his friends are not only 'noticed', they are even accepted. This is not just a symbol.

This is the reality. April: Not a Month of Deception, but a Prologue to Change The two moments in two adjacent days—April 16 and April 18—are not ordinary coincidences.

This is a structured political narrative. If April was often identified with deception in the past, April 2025 actually presents clarity: that the opposition is starting to find its breath again.

The Jokowi-Gibran loyalists who are still entrenched in the Red and White Cabinet may still be confident.

But the ripples from Solo and Menteng show one thing: they are no longer calm. In political studies, sampling must be done through surveys. Just one right photo, one strong event, and we can read the direction of the wind.

The meeting between Don Dasco and Eggi Sudjana et al. was such a moment. It jolted, shifted, and rearranged the configuration of power.

Jokowi may not be finished yet, but his power is being dismantled from within. Not by new enemies, but by old opponents who are now starting to get familiar with the new hand of power.

And as usual, the people will be witnesses, sometimes also victims, of all these transitions.

But what is certain is that a storm is waiting. And the palace sky is starting to shake.
