Bell Brass Snare Comparison Part 3: Recap (Tama, Sorva, Gretsch)

Here's the last part of my Bell Brass Snare comparison. Listen with the headphones to hear the subtle differences between these 4 fine drums.
Gretsch 14x6.5 Bell Brass Snare, Sorva Custom Drums 14x6,5 Bell Brass (5mm-3mm-5mm), Tama 14x6,5 Bell Brass Reissue with Sorva Bronze hoops, Sorva Custom Drums 14x6,5 Bell Brass (3mm) with triple flanged hoops and Remo Ambassador top head (others had Remo CS).

I tried to tune each drum to the same tension with the Tune-Bot but they sound a little different because of different materials and shell thickness.

Cymbals: Zildjian 15" K Sweet Hi-Hat
Drums: Brady Spotted Gum 22x18 kick
Vic Firth 5B sticks

Microphones
Snare Top: BeyerDynamic M201
Snare Side: BeyerDynamic M160
Overheads: AKG C414XLS pair
Bass Drum: Telefunken M82 & Sennheiser E901

Recorded with Universal Audio Apollo x8p (API Vision preamp with no eq)

Filmed with Canon 80D / Sigma 18-35 lens / iPhone 12

I'm constantly recording remote drums tracks from my home studio so if you have a song that needs live drums, please contact me.
