Casting Gold YouTube Play Button

Casting a real Gold YouTube play button. You guys asked for it, I saved up for it. In this project I cast a real Gold play button... Outdoors in winter. The Gold bar is a 100 gram Gieger, which unfortunately I can't afford to keep.

Gold is not only very conductive of electricity, it's very thermally conductive. So while this would have melted nicely outdoors in the summer, I cast this in winter at 2 degrees centigrade in a wind. Still, we managed it, hope you like the result.
