Castle of Glass - Transcendence

Transcendence

Born beneath a gilded veil,
fat on the marrow of borrowed light—
a palace built from paper bones,
now drowning in a blackened tide.

The hands that fed me turned to ash,
the feast decayed into the mud.
Stripped to sinew, stripped to nerve—
I learned to drink my own damn blood.

A thousand mirrors split my face,
each shard a tongue, each lie a name.
I kissed the void between the cracks—
and something answered from the flame.

I tear my skin to let the new one breathe,
a crown of thorns beneath my teeth.
If suffering is the gate—
then let me crawl through on my knees.

Transcend—
through ruin, through fire, through me.
Transcend—
becoming what I feared to see.

A serpent coiled around my spine,
whispered truths I couldn’t fake:
you were never made for mercy,
you were born to dominate.

The acid peeled the painted walls,
left only instinct, raw and bare.
A narcissist in sacred robes—
still staring down his own cold stare.

Crush me.
Bend me.
Break every holy part.

I dragged my soul through broken glass—
and called the bleeding art.

I tear my skin to let the new one breathe,
no savior waiting underneath.
The dirt that tried to bury me
became the soil beneath my feet.

Transcend—
through ruin, through fire, through me.
Transcend—
I am what I was forced to be.

Not reborn—
reforged.
Not healed—
transformed.
