William Ury and Thomas Hübl on Negotiation in Conflict Situations

William Ury is one of the world's best-known experts on negotiation and mediation, on a personal level, business level, and global level. He is coauthor of "Getting to Yes", the bestselling negotiation book in the world, and he is co-founder of the Harvard Negotiation Projects. He counsels governments worldwide and is an internationally sought-after expert in the development and teaching of value-oriented conflict solutions in the interest of all those involved. He has served as a negotiation adviser and mediator in conflicts ranging from family feuds, labor strikes, and boardroom battles to wars in the Middle East, the Balkans, Russia and Latin America. He currently works as an advisor to the president of Colombia on ending a fifty-year civil war.
