Why I Decided To Close and Get Out of the Restaurant Business

I decided to get out of the restaurant business. The short reason is that I wanted to dedicate more of my time to the businesses I am a part of that is growing. The long reason is that it is too stressful running a restaurant and again, I wanted to spend my time more effectively.

I know a fellow restaurant owner who recently passed away because of the grind and stress that come along with running a restaurant. It’s certainly not easy. And although we were profitable, that simply wasn’t enough to convince me to stay open.
