K. 48 - Canon Code Vein - Five Variations on "Heir of the Shingai" (Code Vein)

Following my obsession with Code Vein (a Soulslike RPG of which seems these days to go by the more popular, unironic title of Anime Souls), though certainly I'd say that the story held my passion for much longer than I had originally anticipated, what struck me most unusually, aside from that, the brutal combat, and goth aesthetic glamour was not what I had necessarily experienced and came to love... but the ideas which had sprouted within me from its music. What you see here, among a few other pieces I have currently in-wait, is what blossomed from that initial sprout. I won't deny it- this is probably the first real powerful-sounding piece of orchestral music I have ever created- and it wouldn't have existed had I not known of the hidden gem that is Code Vein's music. As such, I believe this marks the turning point in my efforts. Thanks to this experience, I now know in which direction I intend to take in this new era I have in mind. Expect much more climactic, programmatic, moving orchestral pieces from this point forward, and in much greater quantity and variety, too; as far as I am concerned, I've just tasted the sound of power. My path to dawn now lies straight ahead.
