Let's Talk About Fitness and Diets...
Today we are travelling but we are also starting a new fitness plan!
Here are the details for the Fitness Challenge:

Lasts until December 24th. That is 10 weeks if you start this Monday!
We are counting our calories using My Fitness Pal. We each have a set amount of calories that we are planning to consume. Odds are, you can find this on internet or the app will calculate it for you.
We are measuring our exercise using an Apple Watch Series 3 (Spencer) and a FitBit Charge 3 (Jake). We are using the number of calories that we burn each day. Resting and active.
Here is the rational: According to the internet one pound of fat is equal to 3500 Calories. So math will tell you that for every 3500 calories you exercise more than you eat you will lose one pound. I am sure that this varies for all the types of humans. So you will need to take your suggested caloric intake and from there you can use the amount of weight you want to lose over the ten week period to figure out the number of calories you will need to burn each day. A lot of math… I know. The alternative is to pay a dietician to do all of this for you. If you have the means and the time I would highly recommend.
