My nonfancy kitchen has been clutter-free for 2 months and I can't believe this is my life. What used to be 24/7 chaos has turned into total order and I am here. for. it. After decluttering my kitchen I needed to establish new routines and habits to keep this space in order. I keep my Countertops clutter-free by not having more than what I need in the space. My favorite thing is to have beautiful stylistic items out on display that are also useful for my small kitchen. Spices, canned goods, I keep behind closed doors in my cabinets.

My kitchen countertops are clutter free and I like to keep them completely clear. I also have an open concept pantry as a pantry alternative since my small apartment doesn't come with any pantry space. Having a nightly cleaning routine, inspired by flylady helps keep things in order. So does having a home for every single item in my space. I was pretty shocked to find out that I only have three appliances and all of my kitchen gadgets fit in one drawer. I would say this is truly a minimalist kitchen even though it's an old rental and doesn't have all the fancy bells and whislets. I am really happy with this room. I can't wait until my whole entire house is this decluttered and minimal
