Introducing Long Beach, California - LBLB Collaboration with the City

SPECIAL COLLABORATION: 7SUN MEDIA's Long Beach Local Business is super proud to have worked with the City of Long Beach and Walk Long Beach on a series of videos for LB Development Services.

City planning is the process of crafting the city so that it works. Bike lanes, restaurant parklets, even murals are all a part of city planning and have an actual impact on the impression and function of public spaces. Just one example: You want cars to drive more cautiously and slowly? Installing a mural actually positively impacts the behavior of drivers—making it safer for kids to walk to school. That's #cityplanning.

Over the next couple weeks, we will be releasing videos – virtual “walking tours” – of prominent parts of this city. From JR van Dijs, inc's Jan van Dijs; Kersten, the owner of Portfolio Coffee House and Berlin Bistro on 4th Street; Dr. Joni Ricks-Oddie, LB Commissioner; to 9th district council member Rex Richardson.
