There's a traitor in the dark forest.

Snowtuft was without a doubt the most interesting character in the newest warriors book, The Place of No Stars. The fandom has long speculated and made theories about him, so it was cool to see the writers trying to better flesh out his character. Most cats in modern warriors are mediocre and bland at best, and feel like watered down versions of more interesting cats from previous arcs. Not to mention the inconsistent characterization.

The idea of a dark forest cat getting a redemption arc is intriguing and refreshingly new for warriors. I strongly believe that at the end of the book, Snowtuft is NOT betraying Rootspring after all the trouble he went through to help the living cats. It's more likely that he's now being controlled by Ashfur.
