6x6x6 OPTiMUS Semi Truck Launches STREAMLINE RC THRASHER Fishing Jet Boat | RC ADVENTURES

OPTiMUS OVERKiLL - a 6x6x6 Semi Truck - launches a modified StreamlineRC Thrasher "Fishing" Jet Boat from a hand-made Cormier Trailer in Chestermere Lake, Alberta Canada. The truck is 6WD and 6WS (steering), which comes in handy when pulling and maneuvering a 44" trailer! I have been working in my shop, and devised a way to make a Fishing Reel and Rod on the back of my Jet Boat. The Jet boat is 6s Lipo Powered and has no external prop to catch up my line. I have never launched a boat before, but I have always wanted to try.

I have fitted my Jet Boat with a setup for fishing. I looked around my parts drawer, and came up with a pretty neat Rod/Reel design based off of 1/10th scale truck parts. A 3-link Truss, Suspension Link, a Working Winch, Fuel Tubing, and Metal Rod Ends. I am here to test it out.. but only one problem - During my time on the lake, it was very windy - gusting up to 35mph - making fishing rather difficult. But, I will be back.. and I will try this setup once again.. and hunt for some big fish!
