Part 1
“Warring Angels”

Colossians 2:18

“Do not let anyone who delights in false humility and the worship of angels disqualify you.”

While maintaining balance we must seek to understand the assignment of angels and develop our sensitivity of their presence.
Purpose of this Message:
1. To stimulate our awareness of their presence.
2. To remind us of their purpose.
3. To strengthen our working relationship with them.

Hebrews 1:14
(NKJV)
“Are they not all ministering spirits sent forth to minister for those who will inherit salvation?”

Sent Forth To:
a) Minister with and for you.
b) Assist with your inheritance.

Ministering (leitourgiikos) – to render public service to the state; to serve in temple or to serve Christ

Minister (diakonia) – one who executes the commands of another

As individuals and a corporate body, we must learn to minister with our assigned angels in order to accomplish the assignment given to us!

Angels (malak & aggelos) – to dispatch as a deputy or messenger


Hebrews 1:14

Salvation (soteria) – rescue or safety; deliverance from the molestation of enemies

Four Main Categories of Angels:
1) Angels/Guardian, 2) Archangel, 3) Cherubim, 4) Seraphem

GOD OF THE ANGEL ARMY

“The Lord of almighty is with us.”

Jehovah Sabaoth or God of the Angel Armies

#1: Warfare
Psalm 35:1, 5
(NKJV)
“Fight against those who fight against me. And let the angel of the Lord chase them.”

What they start God will finish!

#2: Protection

Psalms 91:10-11
(MSG)
10. “Evil can’t get close to you, harm can’t get through the door.” 11. “He ordered His angels to guard you wherever you go.”

Stop trying to force what your guardian angel is trying to resist!

#3: Deliverance
Acts 12:7

“Now behold, an angel of the Lord stood by him, and a light shone in the prison; and he struck Peter on the side and raised him up, saying, Arise quickly! And his chains fell off his hands.”

When an angel of the Lord takes a stand he establishes territorial authority!
HEAVEN’S DEPUTIZED ANGELS

First – justifiable force
Second – restraining order
Third – jurisdictional authority
Ephesians 4:27

“Nor give place to the devil.”

Place (topos) – a spot, position or territory; opportunity

“But the prince of the Persian kingdom resisted me twenty-one days. Then Michael, one of the chief princes, came to help me, because I was detained there with the king of Persia.”

Declaration,
“They fight for our city!”

#5: Angels Watch Over Churches
Revelation 1:20

“The seven stars are the angels of the seven churches, and the seven lampstands which you saw are the seven churches.”

Declaration,
“They stand with our church!”

#6: Individuals have an Angel
Matthew 18:10

“Be careful that you not corrupt one of these little ones. For I can assure you that in heaven each of their angelic guardians have instant access to my heavenly Father.”

Declaration,
“They guard our families!”

IT’S TIME TO STOP ALLOWING THE ENEMY TO MOLEST YOU AND ROB YOU OF YOUR INHERITANCE!

ACTIVATING YOUR ANGELS

Minister (diakonia) – one who executes the commands of another

Psalms 103:20

Daniel 10:12

Then he continued, “2) Do not be afraid, Daniel. Since the first day that 3) you set your mind to gain understanding and 4) to humble yourself before your God, 5) your words were heard, and
6) I have come in response to them.”

Activation:
1) They are activated by the voice you give to God’s word.
2) Child like faith activates them.
3) They are activated by your knowledge of their purpose.
4) They are activated by our worship.
5) Our prayers activate them.
6) They are activated by our declarations/decrees.

Idle words idle angels!
Purpose of this Message:
4. To stimulate our awareness of their presence.
5. To remind us of their purpose.
6. To strengthen our working relationship with them.

Then he said to me, “Do not fear, Daniel, for from the first day that you set your heart to understand, and to humble yourself before your God, your words were heard; and I have come because of your words.”

During these days of acceleration, now is the time to learn how to work with the angels of heaven to fulfill our assignment on planet earth!
