Beautiful town Estepona, Spain

Estepona is a municipality located in the province of Malaga, Andalusia, Spain. It is located in the southwestern part of the province and integrated into the region of the West Costa del Sol,in the commonwealth of municipalities of the same name3and in the judicial party that bears his name.4​

Its municipality has an area of 137.5 km2 that extend along 23 km of coastline and go inland encompassing a fertile valley lined by streams and a mountainous area dominated by the Sierra Bermeja,which reaches 1449 meters above sea level at the peak of Los Reales.

Estepona is a popular international tourist destination, with a wide range of hotel options and interesting leisure and sports facilities. It has a very well-kept historic center, beaches and a significant number of second homes. Citrus, tropical fruit and fishing are available in Estepona.

During its history Estepona has been linked to its status as a coastal population, scene of naval battles for its proximity to the Strait. Along the coast the Romans inhabited the present term of Estepona, and from the Middle Ages it was land of frontier between taifas and kingdoms.
