How to Use Wrap Text and Merge Cells Formatting to Improve Look of Excel Worksheet

In my experience, many accountants and financial managers do not know how to take advantage of the many formatting commands available in Excel to improve the look and the efficiency of their spreadsheets.

For example, instead of typing field labels on two or more rows, use the Wrap Text Command to keep the entire label in one cell.

The second example that I demonstrate in this lesson is to merge the text from a single cell across multiple cells. This tip is really useful when you want to automatically widen a column to accomodate a longer text entry without "distorting" the entire worksheet!
