Working with Olympus 35 RD Sticky shutter blades and other details disassemble part

DISASSEMBLE PART!

In this video, about the Olympus 35 RD rangefinder camera, I will show you how to take out the lens assembly and take apart the lens then take out the lens elements, and the disassemble the aperture assembly and then show you how to clean the sticky shutter blades.

TAKE CARE! when unscrew the selftimer lever screw, because it has to be unscrewed CLOCKWISE.

Begin to take off the top cover and take out the selftimer, then unsolder the green wire.
Unscrew the retaining ring from the front lens part, and unsolder the CDS sensor for the light meter.

Then clean the shutter blades and the plate and the parts for the shutter blades with Isopropylalcohol99% and finally lube the axle ends ONLY! with very thin sewing machine oil.
