This review is all about Leesa vs Casper and which is the best bed in a box mattress. Neither is necessarily new, but they have changed over the years. As such, we thought that it was time to do a revamped review and comparison. Now, in other posts, we have discussed the Casper Wave and Casper Hybrid models as well as the Leesa Hybrid and Leesa Legend mattresses. In this one, however, we stay focused on the flagship models. So, if you're getting a foam mattress in a box, should it be Casper or Leesa? Remember, these beds have a lot in common. Both have a little memory foam and both come in at about a 4-6 on our firmness scale. Here's a quick overview.

Casper Mattress: This used to be a 10" foam bed, however, now it is a 12" mattress and you can choose either a foam construction or the Casper Hybrid model that has 12" pocketed coils. The bed also has a "Zoned Support" design, so there's more pressure relief under your shoulders and a slightly firmer surface under your hips and low back.

Leesa Mattress: The original Leesa mattress is 10" thick with three layers of foam. Just like Casper, it has a transition layer of memory foam, and a neutral, classic/soft foam on the top. They actually free quite similar, with a super accommodating feel. We would say, however, that Leesa is perhaps a tinge firmer than Casper. Even so, both should work for all sleeping styles. That means if you're a side, stomach, combo, or back sleeper, you should be ok, so long as you're under about 230 lbs.
