Thousands of actors and musicians vow to stand in solidarity with Palestine
Thousands of Australian actors and musicians have said they want to “wear Palestinian scarves” in upcoming performances on Tuesday, says Sky News host James Macpherson.
He says this is an “escalation” of the now “infamous Sydney Theatre company protest”.
“An open letter to Anthony Albanese signed by 3,200 artists, encourages everyone to ‘wear your keffiyeh, lapel pin or Palestinian solidary shirt to wherever you work’.
Their letter ends with “From the River to the Sea. Always was always will be”.
“Why after all the uproar do now 3000 emboldened to continue this anti-Semitism?" Mr Macpherson questioned.
