Sabonis + Marčiulionis | 1996 Olympics vs Australia: Bronze Medal Game

Aug. 2, 1996: just a gutty performance by the battle-worn Lithuanian legends Sabonis and Marčiulionis, who dragged their country to the bronze over a deeper Australian team.

Interestingly enough, the Aussies played its best ball in the first half when forcing Sabonis out onto the floor and making him defend ball-screens. It hardly happened in the second half; he was able to rest on defense and conserve energy for the offensive end, where he was unguardable on the block.
