The malware that turned Windows PCs into remote puppets #Shorts

In 2002, a Trojan named Beast began turning Windows computers into remote-controlled machines. This backdoor, also known as a RAT (Remote Administration Tool), was written in Delphi and released by its author Tataye. It was capable of infecting almost all versions of Windows, giving attackers extensive control. Its final version was released in October 2004.
