So we're back in Muskoka, in our little Bunkie which is our favorite place to sleep, but we came across a problem........spiders!
We screened in our porch last summer which helped us to get some good airflow to sleep, but we overlooked one very important area; the deck/floor of the porch. Just so happens that daddy long legs and spiders thrive in dark spaces and crawl up through the cracks. Should have known, but better late than never when dealing with this stuff.
So I took it upon myself, after waking up with a spider on my arm and daddy long legs on my face while sleeping, and decided to fix this issue at hand with a little DIY solution.
I found some extra screen we had lying around and went to work on the underside of the deck. Screening in the trophs allows for air flow still, but less bugs in our protected sleeping space.
Needless to say, my wife Hannah is now happier than ever in there, and I have to say....so am I.
